We are seeking a reliable, proactive and skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at our ‘Excellent’ independent school in Bingley.

About the Role

Contract Type: Full Time, All Year

Working Pattern: Mon to Fri, 7am to 4pm

Salary: Based on experience

Start Date: April 2026

Your main responsibilities will include:

Opening and securing the school premises each day.
Ensuring the school site is safe, clean and well maintained.
Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance tasks across the school.
Monitoring health and safety across the school site and reporting any concerns.
Managing contractors and overseeing site works when required.
Conducting regular safety, maintenance and equipment checks.
Maintaining heating, lighting and security systems.
Supporting fire safety procedures, alarm testing and emergency drills.
Managing deliveries and site access throughout the day.
Assisting with room set-up for school events, meetings and activities.

About You: We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a caretaking, site management or facilities role.
Has strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.
Has knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations.
Is able to work independently and use initiative.
Is reliable, trustworthy and highly organised.
Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Can prioritise tasks and respond effectively to urgent situations.
Is physically fit and able to carry out manual duties.
Is willing to drive our minibus with appropriate training
Has a flexible approach to working hours when required.
Has basic IT skills for reporting and communication.
Is willing to undertake relevant training such as health and safety, safeguarding or first aid.
