We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Crèche Assistant to join our ‘Excellent’ school in Bingley and support our busy Before and After School Club.

About the Role

Contract Type: Part Time, Term Time

Working Pattern: Mon to Fri, (Before School Club and/or After School Club hours available)

Salary: £ 12.21 per hour

Start Date: Jan 2026

Your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Crèche Supervisor in preparing engaging and age-appropriate activities for children.
Assisting with preparing snacks and ensuring dietary needs are met.
Supervising and supporting children during Before and/or After School Club sessions to ensure their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
Helping to create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel happy and supported.
Assisting with the setting up and tidying away of activities and resources.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and behaviour expectations at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with or caring for young children (Nursery or Primary age), ideally in a school or childcare setting.
Is warm, friendly, and confident in engaging with children.
Has good communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
Is reliable, organised and able to use their initiative.
Can work effectively as part of a small, supportive team.
Is committed to the vision, aims and ethos of Lady Lane Park School.
A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2/3) is an advantage but not essential.
