About the Position

Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time

Working Pattern: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Salary: NLW

Start Date: Sep 2025

Your Main Responsibilities will include:

  • During term-time, the role will be focused on working within the kitchen team, preparing meals, cleaning and supporting the Head Cook, the role will focus on leading in the preparation of food.
  • Assisting the Head Cook in preparation of food and beverages and cooking meals
  • Ordering, storage and rotation of ingredients;
  • Cleaning, tidying and high standards of hygiene;
  • Implementation of food safety management system;
  • Assisting at school functions as required.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience of working in a commercial kitchen, especially care homes, nurseries and schools is an advantage;
  • Good interpersonal & team working skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Strong communication skills and sense of awareness.
